Full aquarium setup including fish, decor, filtration and lighting. Selling due to moving into a smaller house and can only bring one aquarium. All the fish in this aquarium are adapted for temperatures ranging between 19 and 23 Celsius and hard water, making them ideal for my local area's water supply. All fish are very hardy, easy to care for and readily accept most types of flake food. Circulation is very strong for this sized aquarium giving higher oxygen levels associated with rapid streams. Livestock included: 7 x Cherry Barbs (Puntius titteya) (3 males, 4 females) 2 x Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) 2 x Otocinclus (Otocinclus macrospilus) 1 x Colombian Redfin Tetra (Hyphessobrycon columbianus) (male) The Colombian Redfin is a bit of an odd fish for this type of aquarium. The reason he's in there is because he fights with the Bolivian Ram Cichlid in my other aquarium after losing the rest of his group to a water toxicity accident. He's a survivor and gets along nicely with the smaller fish in this aquarium as he doesn't see them as a threat or territorial rivals. Overall the aquarium is very peaceful even at feeding time with the Cherry Barbs being the most active and interesting to watch. The original fluorescent light fitting for this aquarium stopped working so I replaced it with a more powerful, efficient and compact LED bar. Aquarium is supplied with a 5 meter mains extension lead and a full dose of water de-chlorinator to reduce the risk of the water becoming toxic to the fish after transportation. £50 and collection only from Orton Goldhay, Peterborough. The fish will be bagged and the water drained prior to the buyers arrival at the address to reduce the stress on the fish.
