Louie is a male shihtzu who is 3 years old, we have had him from a puppy and he is a loving Dog, very good with other dogs and also loves cats, he loves his walks in the woods and fields, he loves kids and has been round babies too. He is a fussy eater as are all shihtzu dogs, he will eat dry and wet food but not together and will only eat certain brand's, he loves his treats and his dog chocolate, he also begs on 2 feet for a treat (his trick). He can be very hyper sometimes when people come round but once he's seen you had a play he's just fine. Louise loves to chase his tail all dogs do, he likes to play fetch and run around. We bought Pedro last year to come and join the family but my dogs just don't like him and he doesn't like them so there is constant fighting we have tried everything to keep them apart but it's just not working, the previous owner told us he got attacked by another dog when he was young and had to have his tail removed because it was too badly damaged this could be why he doesn't like our dogs, he loves to go for walks but we don't let him off the lead as don't want him to approach other dogs or for them to approach him and make him scared, he is kc registered and had all his puppy jabs the card is still with his papers but we haven't had his vaccinations redone as the vaccinations scare me to death as they are so strong now and I've known a lot of dogs pass away from them, he is up to date with working and flea treatment, he does need grooming we tend to keep the coat short as he can get very hairy if not kept on top of, he is a lovely boy but needs a lot of work and he scent marks a lot which is another thing that worries us please only contact us if you are capable of taking him on and giving him a forever loving home as I don't really want him moved onto another home if the right home doesn't come along then we will have to keep trying with him, I would prefer him to be the only dog with the work involved with him
