These 3 point of lay Splash Barnevelders are rare breed, medium to heavy dual-purpose chicken. We have hand raised them from hatching eggs and they are very tame, would make great pets or for breeding. They lay a good number of eggs (usually around 180 to 200 per year) and are dual purpose, yielding a reasonable carcass, if desired.
