I have two hens for sale they are laying everyday and I get 2 eggs a day from them. They are very tame and always liked to be stroked and played with. They're fine with other animals as we have a rabbit and a dog. The coop does come with them so you're all set up to go and will even send them with their food. Cocoon Chicken Coop for Sale Comes with two chickens 1 Rhode Island 1 Sussex The girls are 2 1/2 years old. Very friendly and used to being handles. Used to a busy family home environment. We have a dog and he has been taught not to eat them. The Rhode Island Chicken is the Mother hen, Ethel and protects her more shy friend Paloma. Ethel will happily squat and wait for you to puck her up. Paloma will come running if you have food in your hand but will take be a little shy to being picked up. They are both inquisitive and love chatting to you. I am regretfully letting go of my girls as my work schedule has increased and I do not have the time to look after them the way they deserve. I want them to go to a loving family home. The girls lay eggs about every two days. Being purebreeds I am told they do not lay everyday and will live longer than that of a hybrid egglayer. Most days there is 1 egg in the coop and the next you may end up with three. I love their surprises! The Coop I got brand new and is made by Cocoon. Nice and sturdy with sturdy corrugated plastic roof. I have not fixed the roof onto the house as I was putting it together myself but it is possible to do so. The Coop is in wearable conidtion to be expected with chickens. They are being cleaned out once a week at the moment. You will get the coop, water fountain, extension, any food and hay there may be left. Please contact me for any further questions.
