11.2 native mare

Sad sale of our 11.2 dark bay mare native type pony. Betsy is a lovely pony loves to be groomed and made a fuss of turns out with mares and geldings good with farrier good to load etc. We brought Betsy as a ride and drive pony last year my 5 year old has since been riding her on the lead rein and has been an absolute star brilliant out on the roads in the heaviest of traffic, however we have recently tried to drive her I think we were lied to and she had never been driven because when we put the cart on she went mad and since this has been really shaken and is now worried about things she never was worried about. I put my 5 year old on her since then and she was really strong for me to even lead around so I don't feel happy putting the kids on her so unfortunately I am selling her as a companion but with the possibility of being ridden in the future if she settles again which I think she will in time but I don't have the time to wait as my daughter is mad about riding and now has nothing to ride and before I can buy another I need to regime Betsy. Rosie 7yr Native x 15hh Mare

Rosie is a beautiful Native x Trotter mare who stands at approx 15hh. She is nervous to handle although always let's you catch her. To ride she has a very natural shape and outline but is green however she is so willing. To hack she's lovely, happy to lead or go behind. Excellent in traffic and doesn't batter an eyelid at large vehicles or tractors. This little mare has been beaten in the past so needs a gentle and confident handler. The majority of work needed is groundwork so that she realises she won't get hurt again. I find that if she's tied up and someone scares her she'll pull back and get panicked. So I tend to just put the rope through the ring and she doesn't move. If someone can give her the time and patience she will flourish. She has beautiful paces and aside from being very pretty could excell in the show ring. Home is more important hence the price.
