Rehoming my German shepherd.. this has not been an easy decision to make as he is loved.. he's not neutered due for Jabs which I will do he is microchipped and a loving dog I don't think I can give him as much exercise as he needs as my circumstances have changed in the last 6 months as I've had to take a 2nd full time job on... he's a bit boisterous and clumsy due only being 2 years old i will be as honest as I can he lives with a cat and a 13 & 7 year old he's gets on with the cat does get a bit rough playing with her though cats outside the the home he's not so good with there have been a few incidents where's he's jumped the fence when he's seen one.. he's brilliant with the kids although again clumsy n can accidentally scratch them when excited he ideally needs a home with someone who has a lot of time for him:(

1 Year & 7 Month Old German Shepherd Cross Labrador Needing A Home

(PLEASE READ THE FULL ADVERT BEFORE CONTACTING ME DON'T WASTE EITHER OF OUR TIME IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS! NO TIME WASTERS!) Sadly I need to rehome my Sheprador Gizmo he is 1 year & 7 months old, born with a detatched retina in one eye (No further problems will occur I've been told) He needs someone who can give him the attention and long walks I can't. He is good with animals but would really need to be rehomed with bigger dogs or by himself and no cats really as he can get boisterous with them. He has a lot of energy and can be very boisterous so ideally needs to go big house/yard or someone who can take him on long walks and devote their time to him. He is a lovely kind loving dog and just needs a lot of attention which I can not sadly give at this moment in my life. He can get separation anxiety so would need someone who knows how to deal with that and someone who has had big dogs. He is a big dog and around the size of a labrador a little bit bigger. IF YOU CAN NOT REHOME PLEASE SHARE Our very handsome Diesel is now ready for adoption. He is around 2years old and is a typical reserved shepherd which needs just alittle short time to make sure you are not of any threat to him, then Diesel will spring into life with oodles of energy and cheekiness too. Diesel was brought into us recently as he was surrendered by his owner due to him not being able to afford his vet treatment, PTS was threatened and thankfully with Rescues working together, we were able to secure Diesels future by allowing him to come into us instead. Diesel is fully inoculated and microchipped, he adores a good run around, but would benefit from further training with his commands, and lead work too. He is alittle unsure when you are touching around his neck/collar, so we are working on this and he is being really great in accepting that he will not be hurt or dragged about by his collar again. This handsome boy will need a home which has some patience and understanding of the breed, as Diesel is the typical german shepherd where he will protect his home and his owner if he needs too, although we had no issues with this at all, this was his initial job to do with his previous owner but we think he was too soft for this kind of job. We would suggest a dog free home with Diesel in the beginning then slowly maybe after a few months introducing another dog into the home, as he does need to work through some training and not be side tracked by another dog etc. We have been instructed by the previous owner he did live with another dog but we feel for now it would benefit Diesel to be the only dog and keeping him socialised with other dogs so he does not lose the enjoyment of other canines. Cats we would suggest is a no -go I am afraid, He will chase them. As Diesel does bounce about alot, we would suggest children from 9-12yrs onwards or a child free home. If the children are large dog/german shepherd savvy this would be of benefit too.
