Hi, Unfortunately, myself and my wife have decided to re-home our 2yr old blue staffordshire bull terrier. He's called Billy and has characterisitics consistent with the breed; he loves attention, recalls when walking and is physically well. Overall, he is a good natured dog and very affectionate. However, he is still technically a puppy and it is very important that he goes to an experienced owner willing and able to continue training him. He has issues with domineering behaviour (growling) and although we have been successful in dealing with most of these issues (being touched on his back/around food etc...he is now fine with these) he still growls at my wife if she attempts to move him from our sofa or our bed (he manages to sneak up occasionally). We have previously owned 2 strong willed dogs (another mixed breed staffie and a dogue de bordeaux) for many years without issue and believe that Billy would make a great dog. However, my wife will be having our first child soon and we have decided to rehome Billy as he definitely requires more work before loving with a new born child. He is neutered, chipped, and in great physical condition. Comes with some paperwork, food, harness, and bowl/lead etc... Please ask us anything. Ashley

We are having to make the tough decision to re-home our 4 (nearly 5) year old black Cat. This is due to me moving in with my partner who already has two pets (another cat and a dog) and her not being able to get on with either of them and has begun marking her territory due to the stress of having to share the house (and my attention) with the other two. Unlike when she still had Banoffee, Toffee doesn’t really run around when let out, she just finds a corner to sit in. Sheldon joined us 2 years ago - but sadly, due to us relocating, he'll now need a new 'forever home'. Sheldon, 'Shelley' was named prior to coming to us. He'll be around 5 years old in the summer & has a lot of life in him yet. He has a good nature and can happily live with other pets and children. He's been used to dogs, cats, and giant pheasants where we live(!) - and hasn't worried about any of them. He's happiest when lazing about in bed or in the sun in the garden (he doesn't wander far). We're sure he'd love a cat-loving family who would give him more time than we can. Once he's used to you, he'll sit on your lap and purr contentedly. He can be a bit nervous with new people at first (just for a while) - when we first brought him home, he hid under the sofa for the most part of two days! Obviously, he gave up in the end and became a good family cat, full of character. We suspect we have a neighbour somewhere who has started feeding him treats, as he's put a little bit of weight on - and he's not been getting more from us. Unless he's suddenly become a stealthy hunter (though he can be a pretty good 'mouser' when he feels like it). He looks even better when he's not being overfed! Hopefully, you'll not have the same issue. He has been neutered and is regularly treated with Frontline Spot-on (the only flea treatment that works where we live) and is flea & worm free.
