The Prolite GP Narrow Gauge Girth is manufactured under license from Fairfax Saddles Ltd's intellectual property rights, and based on the innovative Fairfax Performance Girth. This narrow fit version is designed to offer maximum performance on horses measuring less than 20cm between the front legs. Prolite short girth 30" narrow gauge (like Fairfax)

I am selling my black Prolite short girth. It is a 30" narrow gauge short girth for a saddle with long billets. I used it with both my dressage & event saddles. Purchased mid and only used maybe 4 times a month up to Oct'16. Only for sale as it is a bit too big for my horse when she is in peak fitness (I bought it when she was a bit of a pudding!) so I have had to buy a smaller one. Prolite Dressage Girth

Black anatomically shaped dressage girth. These girths are manufactured under licence from Fairfax, but cost considerably less, around £80 as opposed to £220 for a Fairfax new. They are not made from leather but a material described as highly technical, cool, dry and breathable, antibacterial and hyperallergenic. They just need wiping or dunking in a bucket after use, so are very simple to maintain. There is also a martingale loop which is easily removed if not required. The girth is 66 cm or 26 inches long from the rollers on the buckles at each end. The centre is 16.5 cm wide, and I have found the tag so know that this is the narrow gauge design for horses measuring less than 20 cm between the front legs. There is a lot of information about fitting on the Prolite website. Very little used, purchased in the spring, and no longer needed so a bargain if you are looking for the benefits of the Fairfax at a fraction of the cost.
