For sale is my 21ft Bayliner Cuddy speedboat with braked trailer. The boat has a 3ltr mercruiser inboard that starts first turn of the key. Mercruiser alpha one outdrive. Has good pulling power. Can tow rings, skis etc with ease but is also happy on tick over. Forward and revers gears are smooth and easy. Engine was winterised at the end of last year. Has since been fully serviced at the start of the season. The interior is in very good condition for the age. The cuddy interior is all new last year. Costing £500. Cuddy has a small toilet in the centre. Never gets used but is perfectly functional. Trailer has had bearing done recently. So the full package is ready for the water. The trailer cost £ a year ago. The boat has a 240 volt connection for berthing. This allows you to plug in a portable TV or Heater. The boat has a camper canopy as show. It also has a pop up full height canopy perfect for rainy days and a full boat cover for when it's parked at home. All canopies are completely water tight. I have used the boat a number of times this year already so it's registered for Loch Lomond. I can show any interested parties the boat running. If it's a weekend I can take it to the Loch and show the boat in the water to give the buyer some piece of mind. She was built my myself and my build-partner at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis. Design: Gil Smith South Bay Catboat. Construction: Cold-moulded hull. 2x 3mm layers Marine Plywood sandwiched between 3mm veneers of Khaya Mahogany. Planking thickness: 12mm. Sheathed with Xynole for abrasion resistance and strength. Solid Oak centreline structure. A very strong boat built for longevity. Western Red Ceder planked decks and laminated Mahogany transom. Spars are made from Sitka Spruce for lightweight and strength. General: 'Lucille' is an ideal short-term project for someone who has the time and tools to finish her. She can be sailed or sold for a much higher value than listed here. She comes with: her newly-made mainsail, most of the of the wood, fittings, turning blocks and fastenings required to finish her, and her spars (mast, boom, and gaff) are all shaped and varnished. She also comes with a brand new trailer with flushing kit. The majority of the fittings are bronze, many of which have been custom-made for 'Lucille', and she has been built with the utmost care and attention to detail. She is a beautiful boat and needs a new owner to finish her and get her on the water.
