For sale is our Parkstone Bay Kingfisher 'Melissa', she is a 21ft 2 berth day boat powered by a reliable Volvo Penta MDhp inboard engine. She has a sea toilet, paraffin stove, sink & onboard water storage which makes staying on her fun, easy and enjoyable. The summer cover doubles the size of the boat giving you some protection and still allows you to dine alfresco. With her shallow draft she is an ideal creek hopper for visiting those hard to get to coves and secluded beaches. Due to work relocation it is sad to see her go. 21ft South Bay Catboat with trailer. New Build. Unfinished Project. 'Lucille' is a newly built sailing boat about 2-3 weeks away from completion. She was built my myself and my build-partner at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis. Design: Gil Smith South Bay Catboat. Construction: Cold-moulded hull. 2x 3mm layers Marine Plywood sandwiched between 3mm veneers of Khaya Mahogany. Planking thickness: 12mm. Sheathed with Xynole for abrasion resistance and strength. Solid Oak centreline structure. A very strong boat built for longevity. Western Red Ceder planked decks and laminated Mahogany transom. Spars are made from Sitka Spruce for lightweight and strength. General: 'Lucille' is an ideal short-term project for someone who has the time and tools to finish her. She can be sailed or sold for a much higher value than listed here. She comes with: her newly-made mainsail, most of the of the wood, fittings, turning blocks and fastenings required to finish her, and her spars (mast, boom, and gaff) are all shaped and varnished. She also comes with a brand new trailer with flushing kit. The majority of the fittings are bronze, many of which have been custom-made for 'Lucille', and she has been built with the utmost care and attention to detail. She is a beautiful boat and needs a new owner to finish her and get her on the water. The reason I am selling Lucille is because I have finished the course and unfortunately no longer have the time to do the required work to get her completed. Barnacle is a 21 foot Parkstone Bay Kingfisher built in and fitted with a Mercedes hp diesel engine. She has had in the last seven years been fitted with a new Wheelhouse. Cockpit cover. Jabsco toilet. Cabin windows. Rubbing strake. Swim ladder. Automatic bilge pump. Garmin chart plotter. Garmin fishfinder. Garmin DSC radio with ariel and a Skeg. She also has an Auto helm a manual bilge pump a stainless steel fuel tank a folding table in the cabin a cold water sink, two batteries, two anchors with ten meters of chain and fifty meters of rope and a prop cutter. She will take the ground which means she can be beached for cleaning and antifouling. There is a mizzen mast for Barnacle which has been removed but can easily be put back on.
