Beautiful pharmacy mortar in Carrara Marble, 19th century, circa . The mortar comes from an antique pharmacy in Tuscany, Florence, early . Noteworthy is the beautiful and valuable sculpting work depicting the Greek and Roman goddess Igea, daughter of Asclepius, symbol of health, and coat of arms with the Lily, emblem of Florence, and the rod of Asclepius, symbol of medicine. The mortar is in good condition, as shown in pictures, with few slight cracks and traces of wear.
