I was going to keep him but I have 4 children and I'm out at work/college 5 days a week. He is a loving dog and would suit someone who can give him a lot of love and affection. I would say he would be more suited to older children rather than young children. He does suffer with separation anxiety. he is such a loving and loyal dog and would be a great pet for someone who can giving him a forever home. It is a hard decision to send him to a new home, but with having work and a 1 year old we just don't have the time that he needs anymore. Due to increasing work demands, I'm in search of the perfect home for my loveable 2 year old collie x lab. She is a superb best friend, with the most loveable, tactile nature ever. She gets along with everyone and everything. Due to the nature of her breed, she is a very active dog, and does need lots of exercise and attention. As I'm finding I have to be away from home more and more, I feel it is the kindest thing to look for an appropriate home for her. The ideal person would be someone who perhaps doesn't work, and has lots and lots of time to be with her. She thrives on exercise, and human contact. She is also very good with all other dogs. Whilst she does love a good sprint, she has great recall, and rarely lets you out of her sight. She isn't keen on being left alone for long periods, but is never destructive. She is a dearly loved pet, but my children are old enough to be going their own ways, and don't have time to help as much as they used to due to work and college.
