2 amazing Chinchillas. They love each other and cannot be separated. The Male does not have the ability to make babies. The male is around 5 years old, and the female is around 8 or 9. I did not get them from birth, I got them from a rescue centre about 4 years ago. I will only give them to a lovely home. They are so smart and love affection though they are not always keen on being picked up but that's Chinchillas for you. I love them but can no longer look after them as I shall be moving and the accommodation is not suited to them due to the lease agreements. As long as they stay together they will be fine. I have for sale 2 young males. Both have been shown at the Calf Heath Show on and both received 2nd ribbons. The extra dark ebony is from a Crutchley Standard x extra dark ebony pairing and received good comments on fur type and his intensity of colour but didn't win top ribbon as he's still small but is off a slow ebony line, he's 5 1/2 months old. The standard boy is from a Kerry x Crutchley pairing and again received good comments on fur type and 'almost perfect' apart from again his size and given that he's 6 months old he's looking for a loving pet home as I'm unsure he will make a great breeding male size. 2 Sweet Natured Male Chinchillas for sale as a pair

2 Sweet Natured Male Chinchillas for sale as a pair We recently adopted these 2 very gentle chinchillas, who we believe are around 2 years old. They never bite and are very sociable if you sit quietly - enjoying running over your legs and up on to your shoulder. They are naturally shy animals so they are best suited to older children or adults who have the patience to sit quietly with them to gain their trust. We use a dedicated room to let them have at least an hour of 'play time' each morning and evening (when they are at their liveliest) - but it needs to be safe environment as they are good climbers and very curious (and enjoy nibbling - they are rodents after all). But this is a great time to sit and interact with them or hand feed them their favourite treats. They also need daily dust baths (they must not be washed in water) to keep their skin and fur clean. This is part of their routine when they come out of the cage, to roll around in the dust bath. A container and the dust (made from special mineral absorbent clay) is included in this sale. This sale comes with a split level cage (see photos), wooden house & shelter, hanging canopy, food bowl/water bottle and various foods. Sadly, we have not got the time to give these adorable animals the level of care and attention they need, hence why we are looking to re-home them. £80 for everything - and for the peace of mind that they are going to be loved and looked after in their new home Thank you.
