This violin is in excellent condition, bought for my wee boy who has since decided that he doesn't want to learn violin anymore. Got it for £50, but it's just taking up space in the house now, so I want rid of it. Strings are in good condition, as is the bow, since it hasn't been played much. 1/2 Size violin made in Czechoslovakia with bow and case. I bought this for my wee boy who has now moved up to a 3/4 size fiddle. This one has been refurbished with new strings, new bridge, tail-piece and chin rest. The bow works but will need re-haired in the near future and the case is a bit on the scabby side but it's not hard to pick up a decent case in good condition. As I did not know anything about cello sizing I went ahead and bought it. Unfortunately when she started her lessons I had to borrow a 1/8 size from her tutor, so therefore she did not get to use this one. I have kept hold of it since, so she could move onto it when she was ready but a year has past and she is still using the 1/8 size and just about ready for a 1/4 size now, therefore I would like to sell this one to purchase the correct size for her as soon as possible. There are a couple of superficial marks on there which are shown in the photos, but it does not compromise the sound or quality of the instrument. We are selling a 1/2 cello and bow with a black hard foam case that is in excellent used condition. The cello was made in China and is a beginners level instrument, ideal for early grade exams. There is also a soft bag case for the cello (also black) not shown in photo as this is what the instrument came with. Please refer to the photos that show some tiny knocks to the varnish edge of the cello. The black case has dark blue velvet like material inside. It has adjustable back pack straps and handy wheels, and also a zip compartment on the back. This case was purchased separately for the cello and cost £90 when new.
