The Cooper Collection Volume 2 of rare Violins, Violas, Celli, Bows, of French & English origin by Albert W. Cooper This handsomely produced volume record a unique collection of classical stringed instruments and bows. Limited edition was , published . Original Retail price was £150,- Volume 2 has over 250 pages, over 350  colour photographs by David Cousins, showing many detailed views of the instruments. Nine aspects of each instrument and two of each bow are shown with measurements. Where relevant, details are included in the text accompanying each subject with translations into German, French, Italian and Japanese.   Size 210 x 300mm, hard bound, cloth covered, dust jackets,   Condition as NEW – might have very light scuff marks on DJ. OUT OF PRINT. Volume 2 contains 31 fine English, French and Italian instruments plus 65 English bows which are illustrated with over 350 colour photographs. Two violins both 3/4 with cases. The first is a Cremona and is in excellent condition. It has one small scratch, shown in the pictures. The second in a Stentor student violin, one string is broken, however, there are spare strings in the case. The case of this violin is a bit worn, but the violin itself is in good order, just a few scuffs from wear and tear. You can buy both for £40 or make me an offer on both or either.
