My two female piggies, Haggis and Potato, need a new home through no fault of their own. My housing situation has changed and I am no longer able to care for them. Haggis (predominately white) is around two years old, Potato (predominately ginger) is around 9 months. They're both quite timid, Haggis moreso; but will come to the cage door wheeking when they hear crinkly packets. I would prefer they go to someone who has experience with Guineas. The cage they come with is only a month old, it is a two tier 120cm indoor cage. It comes with two water bottles, ramp, hay rack, a food bowl and a small brown hidey. Sadly we are having to rehome our 2 male guinea pigs. They were bought from our local pet shop just a month ago at approximately 8 weeks of age. We were advised that they are the perfect pet for young children, however, our 2 and 3 year olds are really obsessed with them. So obsessed that we have had to cable tie the cage shut for the majority of the day as they are constantly opening it, trying to climb in it and generally terrorising the poor piggys. Everyday we get them out to be handled, they love cuddles and running round, but often get chased by the toddlers making it very stressful for them. They are skittish by nature and feel that they are best suited to older children who can calmly cuddle them. Teddy is brown and white with semi long hair (teddy breed), he is confident and friendly. He loves to run around and loves his food. Smokey is a little more nervous and likes to be held and stroked, he certainly isn't a fan of the two giant home invaders that are my children. I would love these to go to a great home where they would get lots of cuddles and attention. They have a cage, hay, food, a plastic igloo, wooden arch, water bottle, and plastic tunnel.
