Hi, I'm looking to sell my 2 female Embden geece, they would be ideal for breeding from. They are very calm & good around people - I got them from storrs poultry in penistone around 5-6 weeks of age & reared them indoors with 2 Aylesburys so they don't mind you wandering around them. They were born early to mid June , I got them mid to late July . I love having them but they are on my allotment at present & would benefit from having a pond/lake & or grass field/paddock to wander around. They came into lay last year but didn't lay long due to the time of year they hatched. They should come in mid March to early April this year & lay up to late September early October area. Healthy birds we've never had any issues with them. Asking a reasonable price compared to some breeders but they can't go in someone's oven! They're too nice for that, pets only! They don't need much looking after & they make good guard animals - they'll honk if they see someone they don't know but don't hiss - unless at a dog/cat. Looking for £40 for the pair.
