DFS Sofas 6 months old for HALF PRICE!!!

Ok. So I'm slowly learning that 'she is always right'. I fell in love with this sofa in DFS and said I want it. She said "It's the perfect material for the cat to scratch, it will get ruined in no time. DO NOT GET IT." So anyway, delivery was 4-6 weeks so we got it just in time for Xmas. I loved it, sat there in my armchair with my grandad slippers on with a nice cold beer watching the kids unwrap their presents. Anyway, the cat really has a thing for these sofas and absolutely loves to scratch them. We have tried everything to stop him. So basically, I was wrong all along and we shouldn't have got them. So now I'm in situation where I've got a pretty much brand new sofa along with armchair and footstool, a cat who loves to tear them apart and a nagging Mrs saying "you need to sell them before they get ruined!". I suggested selling the cat as the armchair is ridiculously comfy. But as you can see, I didn't win that arguement, hence the advert for sofas and not fluffy animals. I've added a picture of the cat by the way so you can see how cute he is, even with his wolverine claws. I think half price is a good starting point. There's light damage at the moment, if you have a cat, this is not the right sofa for you. I'm open to offers. The more you offer the better, becuase she's seen a leather sofa she likes and the price tag looks like it came from the windscreen of a 2 year old Mercedes Benz.
