Sadly we are having to sell our 2 lovely female chinchillas who are roughly months old and love each other very much. Very friendly,although not handled as much as they should be. Ruby will be the first to jump out and come and say hello but does not like being held as much, Daisy can be held and needs grooming as longer fur. (have little brushes and scissors) Comes with one of the best cages on the market, all metal, no plastic at all, plenty of space -they love their cage thanks to the additional levels/tubes we have put in. They will come with everything you need and more - plastic covered sand bath and a metal one, silent spinner, with either stand or cage attachment, hammock, food bowl, water, bridge, a little house, minus the roof (straw roof really did not last very long) coconut shells, which they love and put their treats in and litter tray. Also have an additional large wire cage if wanted - £90 from pets at home, will provide within the price. Large box with everything we have left, food, hay, sand, treats, fleece blankets. Also have a cat animal carrier for easy transport. Will not go to first buyer but the best people for my girls - those who have time to dedicate to them and have experience with chinchillas. They are used to coming out at least once a day for an hour or more - will run and jump on you and love you sitting with them. 2 amazing Chinchillas. They love each other and cannot be separated. The Male does not have the ability to make babies. The male is around 5 years old, and the female is around 8 or 9. I did not get them from birth, I got them from a rescue centre about 4 years ago. I will only give them to a lovely home. They are so smart and love affection though they are not always keen on being picked up but that's Chinchillas for you. I love them but can no longer look after them as I shall be moving and the accommodation is not suited to them due to the lease agreements. As long as they stay together they will be fine. These are two female chinchillas approx ages of 4 and 8, mum and daughter. I have had them for 3 years but in the last few months have not had any time for them, which is not fair. There names are Rosie and Bella, but honestly they respond to voices more than anything. The cost is £200, This includes everything I have including the cage which at the time of buying it, maybe 18 months ago was £170. Chinchilla care is very simple a dust bath a day (see the last picture) which is great to watch, fresh water, nuggets and hay. I would not recommend handling for small children. They wriggle and swirm at first and my friends children have found this scary. (Not to try to put you off) Offers accepted for the right people.
