This is a beautiful hand carved solid walnut dresser, the top having a large shield shaped mirror flanked by two smaller. The base has three bleached burl walnut veneered drawers flanked by two small drawers and two cupboard doors. This tapered tea box with convex lid is made from pinewood and lined with walnut veneer. As accents blackened quarter round edges and the lid and key entrance inlaid with a diamond shape of bone. The inside has a single lid with turned knob of bone and a large part of the original lead-/tin foil is still present. The spoon box still has its original brass hinges and a lock with working key. The bottom of the tea box has shrunk, creating an old shrink seam around in the veneer.
