Handmade Julia Duffin saddle 18 in gp xw black, plus extras

Beautiful handmade saddle by Julia Duffin. The most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in. Made for a very wide gypsy cob, picture included, as you can see he is a true heavyweight, but can accommodate a wither also. I have used this saddle on many different broad horses from cobs to Arabs and even a Percheron and it has never failed to be stable, secure, and offer superior comfort for both horse and rider. Recently used for a riding holiday where many hours and miles were covered in a day and I can vouch I was one of the few that didn't suffer from aches and pains. It's stable and secure enough to enable you to contort I to various positions at gates and has a good enough knee roll to be secure for hunting and jumping. I have hesitated about selling this saddle as it took me years to find and has been the most versatile saddle I have owned. However I have now moved into dressage and showing and I can't justify it sitting there not being used. No damage, in good used condition and I have all my saddles checked six monthly by a master saddler. Flocking was redone in June and it has not been ridden in since. It has serge panels as they offer second to none with regard to fitting and mold to the shape of the horse, and are also warmer and more forgiving for those who are a little cold backed, I was advised when looking for a saddle that these were a superior option to leather.. I genuinely cannot rate this saddle enough and if I could warrant just keeping hold of it I would. It will also come with a brand new unused cavesson hunter bridle in full size with plaited browband and reins in black, as all my other tack is brown. A really exceptional package for those tricky to fit wider horses. Black stirrup leathers and stirrups also included. If I get the full asking price asked for I will also include a good quality used numnah and two Flexigirths, they are both over 50 inches, if these don't fit I will reduce the price of the saddle by £25. For those who have not heard of these they are second to none for rounder built horses who often struggle with saddles slipping, or horses who are sensitive to girth, I use these on all my show cobs, and eliminated the awful feeling of slipping saddles and insecurity. Again if these were brown they would be staying with me as they are very difficult to get hold of. I have had this saddle valued at in excess of £550 on its own and I paid almost double for it second hand. I am looking for £ for the whole package or a very close offer to it. Am happy to post and postage charges will be in addition, I have been quoted £ to post to UK mainland. Happy to send more pics or any measurements you may need. This is really a very good value package of good quality tack and apart from a bit of your choice is everything you need to get going. Saddle will be cleaned and oiled before collection or delivery.
