Shires Optimus 17.5" Dressage Saddle with interchangeable gullet system. This saddle has been barely used as I prefer to use my GP one, I am only selling it as I feel it would be better use to somebody else. It is a very comfy saddle with a deep seat. There is a slight mark on the pommel as seen in the pictures. It has had the flocking redone this January and it is currently fitted with a blue gullet (medium), I also have a black gullet (wide). Walsall made Optimus dressage saddle.  In very good used condition.  Good big knee block. Versatile, comfy and secure. Good wide and well padded seat. Lovely broad panels and wide gullet. Puts you in a correct position. Set back stirrup bars.  Measures 18" from stud to centre of cantle. Measures 8 1/2" across the dee's. Nice MW fit.  Flap measures " from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Has point strap fitted, to help stability, and holds the saddle well behind the horse's shoulder. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Just normal signs of wear and use. No marks or damage.  Useful saddle, ideal for competition, schooling etc.  Any questions please ask! My email address is or call or .
