17" Martin Wilkinson GP stamped Wide

his is a lovely useful little saddle, it is very smart black leather with nice and shiny studs, D's and bars, it is stamped wide but please view the pommel measurement for accuracy. Please note that on the front photo the sun is shining on the seat making it look like there are leather ripples however as you can see from the picture from the top of the seat this is mearly the light. It has signs of use as you would expect for a used GP, please not patches of wear under where thestirrup leather would sit and also the little leather loop at the back on the underside between the two panels has come loose but could be sewn/glued back or simply ignored lol. all in all its a nice everyday GP at a nice reasonable price - happy to post and paypal welcome Read More

Ideal Jessica and Ideal GP / Jump by Martin Wilkinson Saddle

I have two saddles for sale both 17.5 inches and medium - medium wide fitting in brown, full leather and both Ideal. The GP is quite forward cut, more of a GPJ and has lovely big (removable) knee rolls but it still allows you to get in a nice position for flat work. The seat and knee rolls have grained leather so it's nice and grippy. Stamped by Martin Wilkinson and made on a specification by him on an ideal tree. The dressage is an Ideal Jessica, a lovely saddle leather all over (not half suede seat). Lovely saddle to ride in. Lovely Havanna Ideal GP saddle, marked 17.5" but saddler says it is an 18". Extra wide, I had it made to measure for my boy but sadly no longer fits  Has big knee and thigh blocks for jumping and balance straps for adjustment to the girth. In excellent condition, usual marks from stirrup leathers etc. but no tears, gouges or broken straps, cleaned and oiled regularly. Had it reflocked not long ago. Made by Ideal for Matin Wilkinson - stamped and badged 'Martin Wilkinson'. Very comfy. " its neatly behind the shoulder fitting especially well on cobs and short coupled Arabs" Measures 18" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures a good 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Nicely flocked panels. No marks or real signs of wear. Beautiful leather quality, very soft and supple throughout. Scrumph hide on the seat and knees. Very useful saddle from a good maker. Any questions please ask! My email address is or call or .
