The Josephine was developed for the adult show competitor. This Saddle is designed on the Jessica tree with a straight cut flap and panel. Though I have had this saddle for two years it's only been used for one season,At the time the saddle was fitted for my new pony and I always felt It to big for me (now have 16") and it has now become an ornament in my bedroom. So it's time to part and let it go to a new home were it will be used as it's a wast of very good saddle so grab yourself a bargain Buyer will not be disappointed. Has been used used on a 16.2 thoroughbred who was now changed shape so no longer fits. This is a really comfy saddle which holds you in like an armchair. black ideal jessica 18 inch dressage saddle with flair,it is so comfortable i can only describe as sitting in your favourite armchair,it is medium wide and adjustable with air for your horses back,suede seat and knee,i have had the girth straps altered to take a normal girth as my mare didnt like any dressage girth i tried!!but to convert back i was quoted £25 to replace all the straps also 1 of the green ideal badges has come off but im sure they will only be a couple of pound from ideal saddlery,only reason im selling is im looking at doing a bit of hunting/jumping in winter so no longer need it,i used it for showing the judges love it,looking for a black bates vsd gp;)

15 inch Thorowgood gp saddle * ideal pony backing saddle*

Great little saddle, Girth straps like New and structurally sound. Cosmetically has hole on the knee roll but doesn't affect the saddle in any way. Little boy rode his pony in this saddle until we could afford a new one. Would make ideal saddle for riding in at home or as a backing saddle.
