10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. Super Smart 16'1 hh Dressage horse - 9 year old in Swansea

Morgan is a lovely well bred mare. Her Grand Sire Rosenkavalier sired the great Rubenstein. She has 3 quality paces and is soft mouthed. Morgan was bought as a confidence giver for my nervous daughter when she moved off ponies over 3 years ago. She has done her job amazingly well and my daughter is now much more confident. Morgan is super safe, hacks alone or in company. She loves beach rides and is happy to go in the sea. She is happy to canter in front or behind and has good brakes being ridden in only a snaffle. She is safe in the worst of weathers. She has competed unaffiliated up to elementary with some success and she has started some lateral work. She has competed British Dressage Prelim scoring up to 77% and winning on her last time out. She has qualified and competed at the Sue Carson Welsh Dressage Championship. Morgan has a temperament to die for and manners to burn, she is good in all ways ie catch, box, shoe etc. She will stand on the lorry al day with no issues. Morgan is a versatile horse who would suit a competitive teenager as a first horse or a mother daughter share or adult.
