17hh Sports Horse Gelding

17hh registered Sports Horse, 9 years old home bred gelding, Sea Crest bloodline. Malin is a true and genuine all rounder and is now ready for more. He has an excellent temperament, no vices, snaffle mouthed, excellent in all traffic, hacks alone or in company (does love to lead, as he has such a good walking stride), travels in a horse box or trailer and is good to clip and shoe. He has been extensively schooled and sympathetically produced by his owner/breeder. During the last year and half Malin has been stabled at on an exclusive Dressage Yard, here he has had much training and flat work schooling. With successful unaffiliated and affiliated Dressage outings. He has previously had extensive showjumping and cross country training and shows great confidence in these disciplines. As a youngster he did a number of sponsored rides which has given him excellent social skills. Last season he had a day out with the Holcombe Hunt and over the last month he has attended their pre-season hunt rides. Stainmore Reiver - Great Grandson of Mulgrave Supreme. Very sad sale of our 17hh purebred Cleveland Bay gelding who we have owned for the last 7 years. Work commitments mean that he is not getting the attention he deserves - he has only been rode three times in the last 12 months! He is 17 years old, lovely to handle, loves lots of fuss and attention. He has never bitten, kicked, bucked or reared. He will live in or out (we keep him out). He is good to shoe, never tried to clip him. He is a bit of a monkey to box, he will walk on as calm as a cucumber after he has stood still for an hour and worked it out! - He has the Cleveland Bay temperament! He hacks out beautifully in company but not so keen on his own as he has pair bonded with his field mate and doesn't like to leave her. He gets on with all other horses, dogs, kids, chickens etc. He is really easy to look after and is open to any vet checks. We have only used him for hacking, we go miles on him, over and under motorway bridges, open fields the lot, he doesn't get excited. He has been ridden by a semi-novice, 6ft 2" male rider. He is a gorgeous boy who just needs to be loved and given the time he deserves. 17hh registered Friesian gelding, 11 years old. Good to box/trailer, catch, shoe, bath, clip. Currently driving single, he is fantastic in all traffic and been driven regularly up the busiest roads. He is also driven off road around acres of fields and is happy to do this too. Recently taken to a group drive and he was great. He is also schooled to a good standard. Perfect to catch, travel/load, clip and for farrier. He will stand all day to be groomed, good around children, dogs, farm machinery and any other traffic.
