A few days ago i had a call to tell me my boat was under water. its moored about 50ft from the wall at the sandbanks. i went down there at low tide and it was completely empty of water, it has got a small 3-4inch hole underneath that is letting the water in and out. Alternately if someone can help i need to get it onto dry land so i can repair it. This was a lovely 17ft American Winner boat with a inboard volvo penta engine.The boat has a hole at the back underside and has been underwater for over 7 days at the Sandbanks It now has water damage and not sure if the engine is any good.but have been told it is possible to rescue. Today with the help from some good samiritans we actually managed to get the boat floating and pulled it around to the Sandbanks boat club Slipway and they lifted it onto dry land. boat needs to be collected tomorrow Sunday 17th from sandbanks boat club. so open to any offers. all the cushions and seats have been lost at sea.
