Orthoflex Dressage Saddle 17" fits wide to extra wide
This is a 17" Orthoflex ong>Dressageong> ong>Saddleong>, serial number EUKD002 ong>inong> very good condition. I thong>inong>k it may be a series two but do correct me if I am wrong. This is one of the early ones made by the great Len Brown before he sold the company. Features: Long billets Wool Booties, ong>blackong> canvas like material on the outside, quilted blue cottony material on the ong>inong>side. Velcro ong>inong> good shape, stray hairs here and there. Panels measure 22" long, 9.5" at the ong>wideong>st poong>inong>t (front) and 5.5" at the back. I bought this from the origong>inong>al owner who imported it ong>inong>to the UK. She had not ridden ong>inong> it and I've ridden ong>inong> it about a year or so. Always kept ong>inong>side, cleaned and oiled regularly but do not expect new, it is a used ong>saddleong> and thus shows signs of wear appropriate to use. The wool booties do show some wear, have a few loose threads here and there and one has some small staong>inong>s on the ong>inong>side but they have always been washed by hand usong>inong>g wool wash. I never let them get soaked ong>inong> sweat and stong>inong>ky before washong>inong>g them. I did get along with this ong>saddleong> and have another Orthoflex I adore ong>inong> which I started my youngster, a Cob X Shire but this one is just a bit too long and slightly too narrow once she started growong>inong>g outwards rather than just upwards. You know how it is, you end up with four or five ong>saddleong>s sittong>inong>g around and you only have one horse and one backside on which to sit on them. So, no reason to hang on to this one and leave it ong>inong> storage. Have questions? Want more photographs? Want to come see it? Want to ride ong>inong> it? Just ask. Read more
