Jose Ruiz Pedregosa flamenco guitar
Jose Ruiz Pedregosa flamenco guitar. Hand made in , signed and dated. Ruiz Pedregosa is the only disciple of Jose Pena Fernandez and one of the great Andalucian masters. He produces just over a dozen guitars a year in Marmolejo a small town near Jaen and his guitars are true works of art in terms of tone, playability and workmanship. Volume, raspness and richness make this a true concert flamenco instrument: bold, loud but regal and refined. The action and playability are first class and this guitar is very comfortable to play, better than many guitars. German spruce top Cypress back and sides. Ebony fretboard The mastergrade timbers feature a superb grain. 658 scale 54.5 width at the nut The guitar is in truly superb condition both structurally and cosmetically. The machine heads were upgraded to Sloane, some of the finest with Rodgers and Alessi (paid over £250). The photos were taken just outside my home in the attempt to show its beautiful mastergrade timber. But otherwise the guitar has always being kept inside in a humidity and temperature control environment.
