Terribly sad sale of Riley (racino casino) A beautiful gentleman of a horse 17.3hh 7 year old Wb x tb x Irish draught mix Riley was lightly shown before we purchased him and qualified for ri He is 100% the sweetest natured horse but needs more time to develop He's not done much with us since we purchased him as I felt he needed another year of maturing Sadly since bringing Riley into work he was showing signs of lameness (mild and videos to show) We've had vet out today so give a diagnosis and have the X-rays Unfortunately the vet has said Riley has arthritis in left hock low down His diagnosis said the bone shards will in time fuse, and he will be sound but with a slight limitation in that affected hock Riley in every way is easy to handle, catch, clip, bath lead load etc This is a very honest advert and I'll answer any questions he does have a splint on near fore which he had when he qualified ri- treated with splintex and br regularly which has reduced it photos of splint available He just needs someone with space and time on their hands Read More

Beautiful 15.1hh ISH gelding. Has hunted and been professionally schooled on the flat. Has a bold jump and three correct paces. He is a sensitive ride and snaffle mouthed at all times. He is now ready to progress and would make a superb ODE / WH / Dressage horse. He hacks out on busy roads going first or last. Good in open spaces. He has lovely manners, good for farrier, dentist, vet. Excellent in the stable and can be turned out in herd or paddock. If he is last to be fed he never makes a fuss, but stands quietly. She is a forward going talented jumper, being especially brave and bold when it comes to cross country. She has a big scopey jump, currently clearing 1m+ at home and has been out competing locally at 90cm, always going clear and being placed. She is nicely schooled on the flat, will work in an outline with ease and has produced some very nice tests when out competing BE. Although she is forward going, she is snaffle mouthed in all phases and not silly or strong. Scout loads and travels brilliantly, stands on the box with her hay and is impeccable at farm rides, the beach etc. she goes first or last. She is great to clip, for the farrier, be bathed, mane/tail pulled and to catch, being turned out in a mixed herd with no issues. Scout had been starved and was in a poor state before coming into the care of my client 3 years ago. Due to this, she was diagnosed with ulcers. They have been treated by a vet and with maintenance they have not returned. Because of this, she needs all year round turn out. Scout is still girthed up slowly as she can be a little sensitive, especially when coming into season. For these reasons, Scout is not suitable for a novice and would be best in a 5* experienced competition home where she can truly fulfil her potential. Freddie has amazing manners on the ground and loves to give you his full attention. Good to shoe, load, bathed, turn out, tack up and can be groomed for hours! Freddie is a joy to hack out he can go alone or in company when in company he does prefer to behind. You can take him over or underneath motorways, if other horses bolt he will not follow. 16.3hh 9 year old Gelding ISH - Fantastic All Rounder

Bertie is a genuine, sweet horse who always tries his best in everything he does. He lives to impress and always seeks approval and praise from his rider. We have been focusing on schooling and Bertie has came on leaps and bounds, which has been a result of regular lessons from Kelly Douglas. He has substantially improved and there is huge potential in him and with a little more work he will be fabulous to do dressage. Out hacking, Bertie does require a bit of persuasion and relies on the confidence to come from his rider. This is purely because there was an incident a few months back where he was chased by dogs and I fell off. However, he has since seen dogs and been around them but I have been trying to get him used to them again but I'm sure, with time, Bertie will feel confident hacking out alone again. Prior to this he hacked out with company no problem and will go first, last or middle. He really is no bother. Jumping is definitely the field that Bertie excels in. He LOVES jumping and I have established that this is where he is most confident and the activity that he enjoys the most. Bertie will jump anything you put in front of him (including arena fences) and I have never known him to refuse a jump. Loves cross-country even more and will happily go around a course on his own. He will go venturing in and out of the water, including jumping. He will literally jump anything. However, he does get quite excited when jumping/doing XC therefore needs a competent rider. In the right hands Bertie will go very far in the competition world and I would love for him to go to someone who wants to compete regularly as he loves getting out and about. He is NOT a first horse, due to his size and strength (during jumping), however he is always snaffle mouthed. He is fine to load and travel, you don’t even know he’s there and if necessary he will actually stand in the box all day. No problem for the dentist and to catch from the field. When getting shod, he can be a bit funny with his back legs, however lets me pick them out, so I'm not sure whether he has had a bad experience with the farrier previously. He can also be a bit nervous to clip around his neck, although is starting to get used to it but on his body he is fine. Stable manners are impeccable. This superb horse will not go to just anyone, homes will be vetted and I will ask for references. He is my pride and joy and I'm completely gutted to be selling him but due to uni/exams these next few years he would be wasted and he's way too good to be a field ornament.
