Female pygmy goat
This is Sybil. Between 18 month and 2 years (breeder was not specific). She is a pygmy goat bought as a companion for our first dairy goat but now that our herd is growing we sadly can't keep her as pygmies are not suitable as dairy goats. She is quite nervous at first but when she is used to you, she happily eats from your hand and if you don't rush her, will enjoy a tickle under the chin. Her coat is in lovely condition, hooves have just been trimmed, checked for worms, treated for lice (another goat had lice so we treated them all). Given her excellent condition, she could be good for breeding. Previous owner told us she was half Nigerian Dwarf but she looks very pygmy to me, so this may or may not be the case. Any questions please ask, we will only give honest answers. Read More
