17.5 inch Extra, Extra Wide Native/Cob flat tree VSD/GP saddle (Black) Top quality English leather saddle custom made by The Custom Made Saddle company (part of Heritage Saddlers) for a flat withered, square shouldered, flat backed cob but would also suit Highland, Fell, Haflinger or other similar shape native breeds. Must be a table top/flat withered type horse though where this saddle has a virtually flat pommel. A highly sought after style/fitting rarely available second hand. This saddle has an extra wide low, almost flat, open head pommel to prevent pinching at the withers/shoulders and extra wide gullet for stability. 15" Kes GP/ VSD/ WH style pony saddle in brown.  XW - measures approx 10" D-D.  quality leather - Made in England. This saddle is in good used condition.   All sound, only fault is that one of the KES badges is missing this is purely cosmetic.  It is still smart enough for the show ring, we used to use it for working hunter classes. The saddle has a comfy semi deep seat and a fair sized knee roll to keep the little ones happy and on board.  I have used it on our Welsh A but it would be suited to any wide native/ cob type pony.   Recently valued at £385 by my saddler.  I am looking for offers around £250 as surplus to requirements.
