New close contact jump saddle made by dever.   17" wide fit with adjustable knee roles and square cantle.   I bought this for my own horse who is now lame and will not be jumping any more.   Very attractive saddle with subtle two tone brown on seat and knee roles and London tan underneath.   I paid £900 for this saddle so a bargain is to be had.   Collection from catterick, North Yorkshire is welcome.

Very well looked after brown leather Dever saddle. I've had this saddle for nearly 5 years, I've just bought a Dressage saddle for my boy so have decided to sell my Dever. Recently reflocked, stitching & girth straps all in good condition. It came with a mark on the seat but it's very faint, and there are some scuff marks along the back of the cantle, again it came with them and doesn't affect use. It's an extremely comfortable saddle, I've competed up to Elementary in it, jumped up to 1.20m courses, done several full days hunting, it's been to the BRC Championships in Lincoln 3 times and Hartpury once, I've competed in Working Hunter & shown at County level in it. It's a proper GP and very useful saddle. Had my saddler that fitted my dressage saddle check it out, stitching is all in good order, girth straps are sound, tree is sound and it shouldn't need reflocked again for a number of years (depending on use and storage) Any questions please just ask. 17.5" extra extra wide wintec saddle

Sadly this saddle doesn't fit our new pony, it's too long on her back. It's very very wide ideal for your table top flat backed cobs. It's 10" DtoD, the gullet bar that is in at the minute is the original iron bar, which a saddler made wider for my friend (who I bought the saddle off) will come with the violet coloured bar too which is a 2xwide. I don't think you will find a saddle much wider anywhere. Comes with a brand new without tags breathable girth (46") would prefer collection but will post. will swap for a genuine freemax saddle with gullet bar or a saddle pad like the thorn. Read More

Orthoflex Dressage Saddle 17" fits wide to extra wide

This is a 17" Orthoflex Dressage Saddle, serial number EUKD002 in very good condition. I think it may be a series two but do correct me if I am wrong. This is one of the early ones made by the great Len Brown before he sold the company. Features: Long billets Wool Booties, black canvas like material on the outside, quilted blue cottony material on the inside. Velcro in good shape, stray hairs here and there. Panels measure 22" long, 9.5" at the widest point (front) and 5.5" at the back. I bought this from the original owner who imported it into the UK. She had not ridden in it and I've ridden in it about a year or so. Always kept inside, cleaned and oiled regularly but do not expect new, it is a used saddle and thus shows signs of wear appropriate to use. The wool booties do show some wear, have a few loose threads here and there and one has some small stains on the inside but they have always been washed by hand using wool wash. I never let them get soaked in sweat and stinky before washing them. I did get along with this saddle and have another Orthoflex I adore in which I started my youngster, a Cob X Shire but this one is just a bit too long and slightly too narrow once she started growing outwards rather than just upwards. You know how it is, you end up with four or five saddles sitting around and you only have one horse and one backside on which to sit on them.
