It is a great heater, the kids are older so I haven't used it for a couple of years, been in my loft. It Requires 40amps and is 3 phase, I had it wired to my cooker socket which was done by an electrician (My brother for free). When I used it with a sand filter 0.5 hp it heated to 30 degrees c. This is a used air source heat pump about 2 years old, and fully working. It generates around 5KW of heat for only 1,0KW input (COP of 5) on normal summer days.  Is enough to heat a 15 foot pool in summer or smaller one in cooler seasons. Note - this requires a faster flow pump than a standard Intex pump and it will shut down if the flow is not fast enough. Any decent sand filter pump combination should be ok. Also note that one of the plastic inlet compression fittings is missing, but these are standard size available when you get pipework etc. Cost £650 new - grab a bargain. De Longhi 16Kw climaveneta ASHP. Complete with controller manual and circulation pump and fittings. Unit is MCS approved. The unit was only used for 1 year and replaced by Samsung unit as the MD of a heating firm we only use Samsung now so a De Longhi would not look good! It has sat on a pallet for two years but was in perfect working order when replaced. The Siemens controller is also included together with circulation pump motorised valve and other fitments.
