Due to recently having a baby I am very sadly looking for a forever home for my 16hh, 9 year old thoroughbred gelding. Bertie is a beautiful boy with a lovely temperament who always wants to please. Hacks alone or in company although can be spooky when out alone so not a novice ride, needs a confident rider to reassure him when uncertain. Snaffle mouthed, not at all strong. Fantastic in the school although can lack motivation. A good doer for a thoroughbred, prefers to live out 24/7 and wears front shoes only. Bertie was diagnosed with mild kissing spine a few years ago. This does not effect him in any way however it does mean he benefits from regular work to keep his back muscles strong. Harry isn't your typical thoroughbred ! He is very calm and sedate and just wants to be your best friend. He raced 3 times (goodness knows how!) lol Harry was bought for my partner to ride but he has now got into motorbikes and Harry is being totally wasted. He hacks out in company and has done a few little walks alone. His schooling is coming along and he has proved to be brave and bold over jumps. He doesn't hot up hacking even when cantering or going for a blast or jumping. He's goes back to his ploddy self. Riley is a 9 year old, 16hh, TB gelding. Riley is for sale through no fault of his own, I don't have the time or facilities to let him reach his true potential. Also I have fallen out of love with the sport and feel Riley is being wasted stuck in the field. Riley is the most kind and loving horse you could wish to meet and has his own little personality which you can't help but fall in love with. Over the 3 years I have owned Riley, he has competed locally in all disciplines and has always been in the ribbons. This Chap will be a star in the right, confident and experienced hands!!!!! He is beautiful to look at and has so much to give but sadly work commitments leave me with no time to do anything with him. Daniel raced in and after a short time he went on to do low level dressage. He is a super bright boy who absolutely loves to work. He is extremely bright, picks things up very fast and now NEEDS a job to do. He excels in flat work but has jumped a course of 2ft 6" fences with ease. Could be perfect for endurance also, I have ridden him 7-10 miles and he would happily carry on without even breaking a sweat! I did put him up for sale last year for a short period of time and then didn't have the heart to sell him, at that time I was asking £ including quality tack and rugs. He has now been out of work since Sept/Oct hence his price today. I have had to except that letting him go is the right thing for him as much as it breaks my heart. Home is absolutely the most important factor, he is not a novice ride and needs someone with lots of experience, time, energy and most of all confidence. Unfortunately I am losing confidence the older I get and the more he isn't worked and therefore I am doing him no good either. He is the type that needs consistency and regular work. Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. Lovely project TB for sale, based in Arley/Cheshire. *Experienced Home wanted* 16hh, 6 years old, Bay, Gelding, registered with Weatherby's as 'McCool Runnings' otherwise known as 'Mac' at home. Sire: Cockney Rebel Dam: Dances with Angels. Fully up to date with Vacs, dentist, physio etc (nothing noted) and passed 2 stage vetting in Feb when I bought him which you are welcome to view. Loads and travels fine (once he finds his feet), and perfect with the farrier, he can be a little sensitive with his ears but not nasty, and I haven't clipped him but he was fully clipped when I bought him so assume no issues. He is fine to bath, goes in the hot wash/solarium and groom etc. Sadly for sale as I do not have enough time to do this boy justice and continue is education, he is not suitable for novices due to his age, breed and background. He trained to race but was too slow so never raced but is registered ROR, I bought Mac in Feb as a project to bring on whilst my other competition horse is out of action, unfortunately due to a change in work commitments I am no longer able to dedicate the time to him and I am struggling during the week. He is a lovely boy, but he needs stimulation and consistent repetitive work and therefore not suitable for just anyone - he can be spooky and can get upset in busy/loud environments but has already come on leaps and bounds with me as an amateur, with consistent works and lots of it he will excel massively. I have taken him to camp/clinics and out training around somerford/kelsall and he has behaved impeccably, drops/ditches/water all fine etc. Was professionally schooled for 7 weeks over summer with Andrew Downes, and works in a lovely soft outline but but is still a baby and it is not perfect but he is ridden in a Nathe rubber snaffle for everything and is not strong in the slightest and therefore requires someone willing to put more work into him - this is reflected in his price and I am of course open to sensible offers and happy to discuss him in full, as I cannot stress enough that I want the best for this boy - therefore home very much more important then price. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs.
