16hh+ PROJECT LWVTB

We are looking for a 16hh + horse. cannot be older than ten (we would prefer younger). must be broken and know the basics (walk, trot, canter and go on the bit). we would prefer he/she to know how to jump as that is what i am hoping to do. we do not mind a project as long as they are safe and ready to learn. we would like to do lwvtb as he/she will have a forever home so i need to know that they are right for me. 5* home waiting, will be kept on a bhs equestrian yard. can provide references. if you know or have anything that will be suitable please contact us. thank you, Dawn Read More

Sadly my horse Fraser is up for sale due to A level commitments and an ongoing rider injury. Fraser is 17, however does not look or act his age, he has done a bit of everything although hunting is his passion. He has hunted with Beaufort, Portman, BV and Berkeley. Always snaffle mouthed but requires a confident rider. Through no fault of his own, Fraser is not currently in full time work and requires a CONFIDENT ADULT rider who has the time to bring him back to fitness. Broodmare/Project Horse 16hh ISH Bay Mare

Ballygarrett Bonnie Rose aka Double D. 8 years old, bay mare. 16hh but looks much bigger. Currently in work and hacking out. I'm advertising her as a broodmare or project as she is a big strong mare who has a few issues. I bought her 'off the field' and have had no problem reintroducing her back to ridden work after 2 years off. She can be spooky to handle especially with hind feet with a farrier. She is fully shod but you need a patient farrier. She's good to hack and is fantastic in all traffic. She just does not like other horses (that she doesn't know, I've ridden her out lots in company) coming up too close behind her. I rode her on a recent hunt ride and she was perfect until strange horses came up behind her and she shot off away from them. She will jump but there does appear to be some sort of issue as one day she'll jump then other days she takes off at a fence and runs out. She needs time and patience if she were to be fully ridden again. She would be an ideal riding horse / show horse / dressage for someone who is knowledgable - she is fine in a group lesson or indoor/outdoor ménage with other horses going round. Due to a sudden redundancy, and a complete change in circumstances I have not had the time to get her two her full potential. She is wasted in a field with me. Up for sale is Mo/Lottie. A 5yr old 16hh TB ex racehorse. She is a one in a million horse with tones of potential. We bought her in summer but we have to sell through no fault of her own, we simply don't have enough time for her.She has bad habits, and needs work on and we simply don't have the time for her. We bought her straight from a racing yard, but we didn't realise just how little training she has had in terms of manners and riding. She is a sweet girl who loves her work, has a huge amount of potential, and is very happy! She is broken, but very green in the school, and a bit excitable on hacks but otherwise very good, so could be a hacking horse, depending on what you are looking for. SHE CAN NEVER BE RACED AGAIN as she when we bought her we signed a contract to say she wouldn't, and she was too slow anyways:)! She would suit someone looking for a project that has time and commitment. But as I said before, if you are an experienced rider looking for a fun hacking horse she would also suit that. As far as I know she is good to travel, in the stable she is ok if she can see a friend and has some hay but not great with the farrier! Just needs to be worked on. She has come a long way, but we again just don't have the time. We love her to bits and it will break our heart to see her go but we know we aren't what she needs. She is turned out 24/7 with a rug, no feed yet but will be having some twice everyday soon.
