I am 50 and in my younger days used to show jump, before family life kicked in 30 years ago. I have done some hacking and schooling work since, but I haven't ridden for 6 years and want to get back in the saddle. Sports horse mare 16hh in Brecon

6 yr old sports horse mare excellent to hack alone and in company not spooky or strong, enjoys jumping never looks at any fillers etc. Has been xc schooling and competed in a interhunt relay at a county show this year where she behaved impeccably. She is green in the school, and needs riding forwards to achieve a good result. Despite being a good rounder she is not suitable for a novice as being a young mare with a brain she needs to be ridden, she would be ideal to bring on to low level event as this is what I had planned for her, but unfortunately I did not get round to it this season due to my show ponies taking all my time. Revel is a 16hh Irish Sports Horse. He is 6 years old and has proven to be a wise head on young shoulders! He was broken in as a 3 year old, and left to mature before going on to do varied things. He has hunted, been on many fun rides, riding club events, show jumped, and had regular show jumping, dressage and XC lessons. He is used to traffic and good to hack out alone or in company. If in company he is great at being the leader but not so keen on being led, however never does anything silly. Good to load in to lorry or trailer, shoe and groom etc. He has amazing breeding lines, with his Grandsire being the infamous Quidam De Revel. This horse is bred to jump! His Grandsire is: Quidam de Revel is one of the best performers of his generation. In , Quidam de Revel topped the World Breeding Championships Jumping Stallion ratings for the second year running, established himself as the pre-eminent - and most expensive - living sire of jumping horses. Quidam was a jumping star as a member of the French Olympic Team, and later with Thomas Velin. 16hh Irish Sports Horse for Sale in Brixham

I am looking for a new home for my 5 year (6 in Jan) 16hh ISH, dark bay. He is a safe hack which is what I have only used him for, he hacks out both alone and in company, is very good in heavy traffic of all kinds and good in open spaces, he is not sharp and doesn't hot up. Not spooky, may look at something new but a bit of leg and he rides on past. He is good to catch - comes to the gate, groom, tack up and stands at the mounting block, good with farrier and vet, he is good in his stable and happy to live in or out. His previous owner jumped him and he travelled to me in a trailer. He is however strong to lead and frequently tries to bite me - this is why I am looking to sell him as I feel he needs a more confident, experienced person to manage him on the ground as he knows he can get the better of me and I have lost confidence (I have asthma and struggle when trying to control him when being lead).... so find myself riding him less therefore I've made the decision to look for an older horse with a more laid back temperament.
