She is a lovely natured girl, good to hack out, I was told she jumps metre tracks however I do ot jump, she is forward going but sensible and snaffle mouthed. She is good to handle in all ways including to clip, brush, lead, pick up feet etc. Can be handled by a child as young as 6. Good to load and travel, can stamp her feet when first in trailer but is happy once moving just wants to get going. Good to ride but needs a confident, firm rider. Not a nasty done in her body just inexperienced. Can be strong coming into a fence but never refuses and has great jump with plenty of scope. Ballygarrett Bonnie Rose aka Double D. 8 years old, bay mare. 16hh but looks much bigger. Currently in work and hacking out. I'm advertising her as a broodmare or project as she is a big strong mare who has a few issues. I bought her 'off the field' and have had no problem reintroducing her back to ridden work after 2 years off. She can be spooky to handle especially with hind feet with a farrier. She is fully shod but you need a patient farrier. She's good to hack and is fantastic in all traffic. She just does not like other horses (that she doesn't know, I've ridden her out lots in company) coming up too close behind her. I rode her on a recent hunt ride and she was perfect until strange horses came up behind her and she shot off away from them. She will jump but there does appear to be some sort of issue as one day she'll jump then other days she takes off at a fence and runs out. She needs time and patience if she were to be fully ridden again. She would be an ideal riding horse / show horse / dressage for someone who is knowledgable - she is fine in a group lesson or indoor/outdoor ménage with other horses going round. 16hh bay gelding ex racehorse for sale £600

I am selling my 16hh, 11 year old bay gelding. He was a successful sprinter. I have had him for just over a year now. He is a real gentleman on the ground with a lovely temperament, and is very easy to do. He is a blank canvas so would make someone a lovely project. I have only hacked him around the lanes but as he is such an easy horse to do, I think he would be willing to try something new. He is good to shoe, clip, catch etc and will hack alone but prefers company as used to being out with a string of horses when in training. He is 100% in traffic, lorries, tractors etc. When hacking alone, he does tend to neigh for the first few minutes but soon settles down, and for this reason I would prefer him to go to someone who has experience of thoroughbreds. He is up to date with his vaccinations and worming. I haven't ridden him for a couple of months now so he has had his shoes removed, so will be sold from the field. At the moment he is turned out by day and in at night. He has a companion pony and I think this definately keeps him settled when turned out. Read More

heartbreaking sale of my horse Zante Zante is a 17 year old tb dressage school mistress who also jumps I have done all activities with Zante pony club camp, rallies, all pony club shows, riding club shows, cross country, trailblazer show jumping, pony club area dressage in the intermediate last year, did the interbranch pony club dressage open this year which she came 2nd, qualified for the trailblazer showjumping final in the 95cm this is in august. she has also competed in sib toys qualifiers coming,winner at Newark and notts county show in the tara showing class she has previously done British dressage and eventing with her old owner.
