We are selling our TB gelding he is 15 and the perfect gent, he doesn't act in anyway like a TB he is easy to catch, good for the farrier, loads nicely as we take him for lessons once a week in our trailer. He lives with other ponies and donkeys. He is ideal for a novice as he can be a bit lazy if not pushed on so a more experienced rider might make him more forward going. My au pair rides him and she is a complete beginner. He hacks out alone as we don't have another horse. He has been hunting and can pop a log. We are sad to sell him but I feel I am a bit heavy for him ideally needs a lighter rider. He has lots to offer and ideal for just messing about on a couple of times a week if that's all someone wants to do. I am not asking a lot for him as the home is more important that the price. DAVE. 16hh 8yo Tb gelding. Dave has very expressive paces and is very willing to learn. He would excel doing dressage although would equally be happy just hacking/ schooling. He loves work and ideally likes to be working 4+ times a week. He’s nervous around coloured poles and can be nappy when hacking alone although it’s nothing extravagant. 16hh bay gelding ex racehorse for sale £600

I am selling my 16hh, 11 year old bay gelding. He was a successful sprinter. I have had him for just over a year now. He is a real gentleman on the ground with a lovely temperament, and is very easy to do. He is a blank canvas so would make someone a lovely project. I have only hacked him around the lanes but as he is such an easy horse to do, I think he would be willing to try something new. He is good to shoe, clip, catch etc and will hack alone but prefers company as used to being out with a string of horses when in training. He is 100% in traffic, lorries, tractors etc. When hacking alone, he does tend to neigh for the first few minutes but soon settles down, and for this reason I would prefer him to go to someone who has experience of thoroughbreds. He is up to date with his vaccinations and worming. I haven't ridden him for a couple of months now so he has had his shoes removed, so will be sold from the field. At the moment he is turned out by day and in at night. He has a companion pony and I think this definately keeps him settled when turned out. Read More

bay gelding free to good home 16hh in Morecambe

20 year old Bay gelding in need of new home. He is one of the softest horses I've ever known but unfortunately I can no longer keep him. We have had him a few months but feel he would suit a quieter home where he is on minimal work. He's upto date with farrier, dentist wormers and is passported and microchipped. He has an injury to his left hock that we where told he did hunting 2 years ago but our vet says it's probably a year old. It does swell up from time to time but he's not lame. The vet says he can light hacking only or be a companion.
