Darcy is a lovely 16h 12 year old mare she can only be a happy hacker as has old shoulder injury and has had a fractured bone in back leg all is healed and been cleared by vet to just be a happy hacker. She prefers hacking to schooling anyways. She is 100% on road nothing fazes her she's been passed buses tractors lorries over motorways. To stay at current yard or be moved locally as she doesn't travel in a box or trailer. As many days as you like She is not shod but if you want her shod it's at own cost. 16h, 11yrs, lovely bay tb mare for sale. 100% perfect in heavy traffic regularly hacks out on busy main roads with cars, wagons, buses, motorbikes etc nothing fazes her. Will happily go in front or behind on roads, tracks, fields, jumps logs, ditches, even puddles. Nice snaffle mouth not strong at all, nice jump, clean limbed. I bought her couple months ago as wanted a riding horse as turned the youngster away to be a baby and was missing riding. Only done mainly hacking as this is what i enjoy aswell as her. Only for sale as started new job and struggling to have time for her. Has been seen to windsuck when she knows it's time to be fed. Lovely yo gelding. Did race upto he was 7 then a injury ended his career. He's been cleared to do light hacking tho. Heartbreaking sale of my beautiful cob Maggie. Maggie is a fantastic little mare who is ready for a quieter life. She is 14.3hh and approximately 15yrs old. Maggie has been part of our family for 5 years, in which time she has given me so much confidence. She has mainly been used for hacking and fun rides and is now looking for a new home where she can continue to be a happy hack/companion/broodmare. Very sad sale of a much loved family pony due to no regular jockey. 14.2hh very quiet weight carrying cob, 13 years old, barefoot, unrugged all year as she grows the thickest coat during winter, lives in or out, she is out at the moment as we have no spare stable. This mare has lovely manners and will suit confident novice or mother daughter share, she takes her confidence from you and is always willing to please and a very quick learner. I have had intelligent horsemanship lessons with her from which we both benefited. She has never bitten, kicked, reared or bucked, hacks alone or in company, snaffle mouth and responsive to leg aids, green in school as i bought her as a happy hacker, currently living out with ponies, a shire and a shetland gelding, cattle and sheep. Is used to dogs, young children and all farm machinery, passes anything on roads. No vices or health issues. Microchipped, passported and wormed. She is nervous of the farrier and having her teeth done, she does not misbehave but dances a little, she is also nervous of the hosepipe but happily walks into the river to have her legs washed, this is where a confident novice can give her confidence.
