SOME INFO: The Allen & Heath MixWizard mixer is the third generation of this popular series known for its fantastic sound and functionality. MixWizard WZ3 has a new preamp design, tailored EQ frequencies, an extra mono output (on a fader that can be switched to provide a sub-bass mix from channel aux 6), and several routing changes to make the engineer's life easier. Other new features on the Allen & Heath MixWizard 3 include new styling, an extra lamp socket, Sys-Link options, and backup power supply. Mono Inputs The Allen & Heath mixer gives you 16 mic/line channels, each with 4-band EQ, HPF, individual phantom power, 6 auxes, mute switch, signal and peak indicator LEDs and a 100mm smooth-action fader. A configurable direct out and insert using all-metal TRS jacks are provided. Stereo Mix with A/B Out Main output controlled by 100mm faders with 12-segment 3-color metering with insert. The mixing console give has an A-B output for additional L&R stereo output selectable pre or post L&R faders. Unique underpanel mode switch to configure A-B as a local monitor output for additional stereo monitoring. Dedicated Mono Output Allen & Heath MixWizard 3's mono fader feeds mono XLR output. Source select L+R sum or aux 6 mix for creating separate mono/C or aux fed sub mix. 6 Aux Sends The Allen & Heath mixer has 6 auxiliaries: 1-2 prefade (option: link to follow pre/post switch), 3-4 switchable pre/post fade (option: permanently prefade) and 5- and 6 post fade (option to follow pre/post switch). Internal option to configure stereo channel L signal to odd auxes and R signal to even auxes. Aux masters are rotary controls with TRS outputs. The mixing console's aux busses can be monitored in mono or related stereo pairs. 4-band EQ plus HPF Mono channels have separate controls for sweep and cut/boost on mid bands. HPF @ 100Hz is switchable. 2 Stereo Returns TRS line inputs, routed via level controls to L&R mix. ST1 can feed aux 1-4. Note: the audio mixer's internal FX returns to ST1. The ST1 input allows external FX to be mixed in. Onboard Digital FX The Allen & Heath MixWizard 3 mixer 32 FX programs with external MIDI editing/control. Can be configured in single mode (16 programs fed from aux 5) or Dual mode (8 programs fed from aux 5, plus another 8 programs fed from aux 6). FX are returned via ST1 to the mix, aux 1-4. The effects can be muted using a footswitch. WZ FX editor software is available from the A&H website. Engineer's Toolbox Headphone output and local monitor possible, with separate level controls. Red LED indicator when PFL on input channels is selected. PFL signal overrides the selected monitor source and L&R metering. The Allen & Heath MixWizard's A-B output can be configured as local stereo monitor. This is a fantastic little live mixing desk! Please find info at Allen & Heaths website re. Zed 10FX. The only reason I'm selling it is because I now use a dedicated Bose mixer for my Bose PA and I'm having to move so it's got to go! For live sound it has very good quality preamps and a nice musical EQ! I built a wooden case for it as you can see in pics and used it live in the box which is useful too. Allen & Heath mixing desk, assorted FX units

I'm selling my beloved Allen & Heath mix wiz 16:2 desk plus an assortment of FX units to go with. Only reason for sale is that my needs have changed and I'm doing a lot less sound work, so a smaller desk will do me for now. Info: Desk - 16 channels, 6 aux sends (4 pre/post, 2 post for built FX or external FX), built in FX (reverbs and delays - limited but decent sounding), 4 band EQ (hi, hi mid w/sweep, lo mid w/sweep, lo), pan p/channel, 48v phantom power across all channels (NOT per channel), direct outputs per channel, making it a perfect desk for recording (live or in a studio). Works 100%, quite a few marks on it, most if not all of these are from previous owners/users (was bought from a company that used to rent out sound gear). A fader is missing the white fader, but it still works. Again, when I bought it the fader was cracked and after a couple of gigs it just split and I couldn't be bothered to replace it. Replacement faders are a couple of quid if that. Like I said, the channel and fader still work fine. £420 Behringer 2 channel compressor, Behringer 31 band EQ - does what it says on the tin. Both work 100% and come with power. £30 each Lexicon MPX 500 - FX unit containing reverbs, delays and choruses (I think). These were quite sort after once upon a time. Professional level FX in an affordable unit. Only used [by me] a handful of times and did it's job superbly. Comes with power. £130 Alesis midiverb II: similar multi FX unit to the lexicon. Again quite sort after in certain circles. This works and comes with power but for some reason a previous owner has hard wired the power into the back and it looks a bit unpleasant. Never had a problem with reliability, just doesn't look too great from the back. But who is really gonna be looking back there a lot any way? Works Alesis midiverb iii: the next gen of the midiverb II. Works 100% and in great condition. Comes with power. £85 Desk comes with flight case with 4U rack space built in. Does it's job but a bit beaten up from previous owners/users. If you buy all together I'll throw in a 2U light weight hard case, a 4U soft case and a handful of patch leads that came with everything when I bought it. And a Behringer XM microphone (Behringer copy of an SM58, decent sounding but not as good build quality, worth £20). Would rather it all go together, will sell all together (which includes all the extras mentioned above) for £730 ovno. Also up for trades depending what it is, but feel free to message me.
