windsor 8 year old 15.2 bay gelding TB a sweet kind gent in

This is such a sad sale of my daughters horse and she is heart broken to see him go, but she must put her A levels first and she just doesn't have the time for him at the moment he's just sat in the field getting fat. We first brought windsor for my son two years ago and he has taken him out on many group rides and some hunting, where he was very well behaved in just a snaffle. Before we had him he had hunted for two seasons with the TSH but sadly he just was not enough of a challenge for our Son so we passed him on to our daughter who at the time had just got her confidence back ridding a steady cob. Windsor was kind enough to put up with nerves and has taken her from strength to strength, they have both learnt to do some small jumps and a bit of school work although they are both green in this area, he takes everything in his stride. I would say that windsor is a mother daughter share/or a lovely ladies hunter he has excellent stable manners a dream to clip/box/wash/lead/catch he will always come to you to see if you have any goodies in the field. He's great with children, we have a 3 year old 6 year old and 12 year old and we've never had a issue with him being round children. He's good with other dogs. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Happy to answer any questions at all but hopefully I have detailed everything in this advert This is a very difficult decision for my 11 year old daughter. hh gelding (unknow breading) 14 year old bay Ben had sadly come up for sale as his owner has sadly passed away, ben is the sweetest boy i have meet, he loves bing brushed bathed cuddles and being riden (his eyes light up when he see's his tack) He will happy hack out with other horsed/ponys but isn't overly keen on going on his own (this is only due to him ever having to do it with his last owners) u can leave him for weeks on end and he will still be tje same pony as when u last rode him, he will happy jump a small course of jumps, i really do love this horse and have got a lovely bond with him.
