16.2hh, ISH 7 year old mare Zara is a very sweet and loving mare with a cheeky personality, she's still quite green for her age as over the last two years I have had her, she hasn't done much. She has good movement and a lot of potential, especially for dressage or xc. She needs a confident and experienced rider that can give her regular exercise 5-6 times a week as she can buck and rear which is the reason for sale. She has had everything checked including her back, saddle, teeth, blood tests for ovarian cysts and general check over by the vet, she has been on schooling livery and we have also had a horse whisperer out but her behaviour is just down to naughtiness and knowing she can get away with it with me. She is completely fine with a confident rider but I am too nervous now which is why she plays up. She isn't in work at the moment so will need to be brought back into it. 8 year old, 16hh grey ISH mare

*For sale on behalf of a client* *King of Diamonds lines* Scout is a stunning 8 year old, 16hh grey ISH mare. She is a forward going talented jumper, being especially brave and bold when it comes to cross country. She has a big scopey jump, currently clearing 1m+ at home and has been out competing locally at 90cm, always going clear and being placed. She is nicely schooled on the flat, will work in an outline with ease and has produced some very nice tests when out competing BE. Although she is forward going, she is snaffle mouthed in all phases and not silly or strong. Scout loads and travels brilliantly, stands on the box with her hay and is impeccable at farm rides, the beach etc. she goes first or last. She is great to clip, for the farrier, be bathed, mane/tail pulled and to catch, being turned out in a mixed herd with no issues. Scout had been starved and was in a poor state before coming into the care of my client 3 years ago. Due to this, she was diagnosed with ulcers. They have been treated by a vet and with maintenance they have not returned. Because of this, she needs all year round turn out. Scout is still girthed up slowly as she can be a little sensitive, especially when coming into season. For these reasons, Scout is not suitable for a novice and would be best in a 5* experienced competition home where she can truly fulfil her potential. ?? Rue is a 17hh 6yo ISH mare. By Emperor Augustus out of Kilrush Suzie (King of Diamonds). Was broken professionally then hacked and turned away for a year. Brought back into work April and worked since, but recently had time off over winter due to lack of facilities and wet ground. Not for a novice rider, not dangerous, just young and green. She needs further schooling and fitness. Has bucked on the odd occasion, however I wouldn't even class as a 'buck', back legs barely leave the ground, just argumentative behaviour on stroppy days, although she is a mare and I find this behaviour has occurred when she is in season. Slightly behind the leg, needs a push although confident in all 3 paces. Rue has steady transitions, though she needs a quiet calm rider. Recently had back, pelvis and teeth all done. Took her over her first jumps last summer, keen jumper, I would like her to turn a hoof to all disciplines. Good to hack with others, needs a firm hand out alone, not keen on tractors, but asks rider for reassurance, rather than the flight and flee type, so it is important that rider is confident, quiet and kind! Overall Rue is a very nice little mare with a sweet personality, she is very special to me. A lot of potential to do more with more consistent work, both ridden and on the ground, this is a squeeze with me being at college.
