windsor 8 year old 15.2 bay gelding TB a sweet kind gent in

This is such a sad sale of my daughters horse and she is heart broken to see him go, but she must put her A levels first and she just doesn't have the time for him at the moment he's just sat in the field getting fat. We first brought windsor for my son two years ago and he has taken him out on many group rides and some hunting, where he was very well behaved in just a snaffle. Before we had him he had hunted for two seasons with the TSH but sadly he just was not enough of a challenge for our Son so we passed him on to our daughter who at the time had just got her confidence back ridding a steady cob. Windsor was kind enough to put up with nerves and has taken her from strength to strength, they have both learnt to do some small jumps and a bit of school work although they are both green in this area, he takes everything in his stride. I would say that windsor is a mother daughter share/or a lovely ladies hunter he has excellent stable manners a dream to clip/box/wash/lead/catch he will always come to you to see if you have any goodies in the field. Suitable hacking/hunting. Been cubhunted this autumn and been on hunt rides. XC schooled through water and ditches etc. Excellent in traffic and hacks alone or in company very happily. Easy to do in all ways. Nice looking horse with good conformation, could also suit a showing home to be a lightweight show hunter.

I’m in no rush to move him on, I can wait for the right home and I’ll continue working with him to keep him fit and active. DAVE. 16hh 8yo Tb gelding. Dave has very expressive paces and is very willing to learn. He would excel doing dressage although would equally be happy just hacking/ schooling. He loves work and ideally likes to be working 4+ times a week. He’s nervous around coloured poles and can be nappy when hacking alone although it’s nothing extravagant. Since coming out of racing in he hasn’t been competed, so is nervous/excited in groups of horses. Although I’ve ridden him with 3/4 other horses at a time and he’s been fine. For sale Beautiful bay Gelding 8yo 16hh For sale as a project, he's a lovely boy with great manners. He hacks alone and in company and is good in all traffic. He's good on the flat and improves every time, just lacking top line which is also improving week by week. He's not sharp or spooky but is forward going, he would be ideal for someone looking for a winter project who has the time. I don't really want to sell but doing what I feel is best for him as I only have a grass paddock to work him in and when it's wet I can't ride or lunge on it as it's also winter grazing so don't want to churn it up, also no lights so after work it's a race against the light:(so I don't want to see him get wasted over winter! 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. Very handsome TB gelding, 10 years old, has raced and is ROR eligible. Hacks out in any traffic, never bats an eyelid - I have ridden this horse down an industrial estate and he didn't notice! Will hack alone or with company with no issues. His schooling does need work, he is fabulous in walk and trot, just needs strengthening and balancing to get his canter correct. I have taken him to a few dressage tests and he is always placed. Has a great jump on him and has successfully competed SJ in the past however this has not been my focus with him. He is a truly lovely horse who always tries his best to please, only for sale due to my increasing work commitments following finishing my degree and I am struggling to do justice to two horses. Has been seen to windsuck in his stable, but not frequently and never caused him a problem. He will come with all his tack and rugs.
