Has clover hill blood lines, is a lovely trusting mare n a very quick learner n will be excellent in dressage n eventing.my daughter has bought it to bring herself on in riding with weekly lessons but is going to uni n thought she could efford it to keep, so sad sale as really enjoying hettie.this mare hos so much potential, would do great at a competition yard.

16.1hh Coloured Irish Sports Horse, Mare in Neath

Bella is a 16.1hh Registered Sports Horse, although she probably stands taller, haven't measured her, bought as year old in May, mare, always told she has a gentle eye. Head turner wherever she goes. 100% in any traffic even heavy farm machinery. Not fazed by traffic calming measures on the road, we have 60mph roads on our regular hack, stands for you to open gates, mounted or unmounted. She happily stands for me to clank my little step ladder next to her to be mounted. She will not take off in open spaces, happily let other horses pass her, does not try to be with them. Good to box, shoe, catch, clip. Previous owners boxed and clipped her regularly for hunting, but I haven`t boxed or clipped her. She has never bitten, kicked, reared, happily let dogs run around her. Out hacking passed pretty much everything, noisy lawn mowers, cement mixers, scrambling bikes, chain saws up the forestry. She is not fussed on builders sand bags, will give them a wide berth. She is very alert and nosey. She is not a kick along horse, but safe and not sillly. She does need a confident rider to push her forward sometimes when she is unsure of something, but will pass, again not stupid or silly. She will if you let her try it on with you, so you need to be firm with her, until she knows you won`t be messed about. At first she is a little head shy but no problems when head collar or bridle on. She can sometimes spook, her reaction is planting her feet, again nothing stupid or silly. I have been very honest in describing her, but I can only tell you how I find her. I just haven't had the time to work with my girl, lack of mt time for her forces sale. I have come to the hard decision that my mare needs to find a new mum. I have owned Charlie for two years but through no fault of hers she hasn't done a great deal of work. She can be stroppy and pull faces but she isn't nasty just needs a quiet and understanding owner. She is a typical mare and needs asking rather then telling. It is with a very heavy heart that l am having to put my mare up for sale. I have owned Charlie for two years, l bought her to fill the shoes of my due to be retired gelding.
