Bonza is a fabulous horse to ride, he is forward going and brilliant fun, Bonza NEVER says no, he is a full of character safe ride who loves his work so much. He is a lovely boy to catch load handle groom etc, he has no vices and is clean limbed and sound. He is not a novice ride as he is a responsive forward going horse, but very easy to ride for a seme competent jockey. Safe in the heaviest traffic through open spaces land woodland or housing estates, Bonza has hunted but not for a couple of seasons as my back is injured so I cant go out all day anymore. I absolutely love riding Bonza and look forward to seeing him go to someone who can keep him in work doing what he loves. Receiving lots of fantastic feedback on this pony from people who have seen her ridden! Complimented on her every single time we're out! Snaffle mouthed at all times. Works lovely on the flat in all 3 paces. Doesn't buck/rear/nap or get excitable. Has a fantastic neat and scopey jump!! Loves going out Showjumping! Would easily BS! Has jumped ditches/banks/water out cross country. She is great in open spaces She does hack out alone and in company however needs a competent rider as she gets anxious about vehicles which don't slow down enough and needs a capable rider to keep her moving forwards. Off-road hacking she has no issues. I've taken her hunting and on fun rides and she loves it! Rides at the front or at the back, rides over any obstacles/surface and isn't fussed about the hounds of noises. Excellent conformation, straight mover, no lumps or bumps or vices. Easy to do She really wants to please her rider and picks things up quickly. She loves to work. Good to load, travel, catch, bath, with dentist. Smart, intelligent and friendly pony. Native/New Forest type (I was told Welsh cross, but no breeding known, she has a basic passport). A stocky 'big' 13.1hh (measures just over) easily takes a small adult or teenager. She can be strong and is naturally forward thinking and responsive, so absolutely not for a novice but a talented pony in the right hands. Good paces, flatwork isn't really her thing! But get her on side and she's a real trier, started learning leg yield recently. Loves to jump, she is fast, scopey and bold but as yet unproven competitively, she is low mileage and mostly been an adults hacking pony (on and off road) or a companion. She really is a smart pony with plenty of potential for a confident and competent rider to bring on. This mare is 4 years old, she's hh to make 15.2hh she's a cob x hackney, she can be very good to ride but does need an experienced rider, I have jumped her 3ft and she has scope of 1m, i have hacked her out with company and she was good as gold! Her only down sides are that when she has her mare days she does rear and buck (more on lunge than riding) and when lunging she does get very excited but if told to slow down she will, she can be hard to mount but on her non-mare days she will stand still, she is very good in the stable but can get impatient while waiting and does paw but when told to stop she will, good to lead and will stand and wait, she had a heart of gold! She will love you so much, she adores her kisses and cuddles and always loves to say hi to anyone at her stable door and always likes to say bye too!
