Stunning 15hh cob x Id mare for sale. We have had Incy since April this year and after always having geldings she is my daughters first mare, sadly they are just not jelling and we have come to the sad decision to part company with her. Incy hacks out alone and in company can be a touch unsure on her own but with a confident rider will do as she's asked. We have done pony club, craven country farm ride and schooling for her age she is quite green when it comes to schooling so needs work in this area however she does try her best and seems to pick things up fairly quickly. This mare is 4 years old, she's hh to make 15.2hh she's a cob x hackney, she can be very good to ride but does need an experienced rider, I have jumped her 3ft and she has scope of 1m, i have hacked her out with company and she was good as gold! Her only down sides are that when she has her mare days she does rear and buck (more on lunge than riding) and when lunging she does get very excited but if told to slow down she will, she can be hard to mount but on her non-mare days she will stand still, she is very good in the stable but can get impatient while waiting and does paw but when told to stop she will, good to lead and will stand and wait, she had a heart of gold! She will love you so much, she adores her kisses and cuddles and always loves to say hi to anyone at her stable door and always likes to say bye too! I bought Cub in April of this year. He was sold as a confidence giving happy hacker. When I tried him, I rode him along a very busy main road and a country lane. He was perfect. However, after bringing him to a busy livery yard, his behaviour has changed and he is not the horse for me, as a nervous rider. He is absolutely bombproof on the roads. He is a true gent on the ground with the farrier & being groomed and pampered! The only problem I have is that sometimes he has a tendency to not want to do as he is being asked & will spin around. Lots of riders would put up with this & sort him out but this isn't what I wanted. He loves to jump. He is very friendly with people & other horses & is currently turned out with mares & geldings. No problem with any farm animals, dogs or farm machinery. I would love Cub to find a 5* home with somebody who will enjoy him not being boring! He needs a confident rider who will keep him busy!
