Super happy hacker cob mare

Little miss April April is a 13.3h 9yo compact leg at each corner cob mare. She currently a ‘happy hack’ ridden by a 5ft6 adult and is 100% in all traffic, farm machinery on the yard, bikes, children with footballs, loose dogs etc. She has been mainly ridden alone but doesn't hot up in company or in open fields, she is much more woah than go! But that said she is still responsive to the leg not a kick kick sort. April has no vices and has a loving and inquisitive personality, although can get a bit anxious when left on the yard sometimes. She is good to groom, clip, catch, box, tack up etc and is good to handle on the ground. She has solid barefoot feet and like most cobs is low maintenance and would happily live in or out, alone or in company. Tilly is approx 11 years old, she is 13.3hh and will carry up to 11 stone. She will happily carry a novice rider on hacks and be safe and responsive and not bat at eye at anything. She was broken in with a headcollar and is ridden out alone or in company in a sidepull. She has had time off to have a foal and will naturally need her confidence built again when being brought back into work. She has had a harness on and pulled a block and it didn't bother her so would probably make a nice driving pony. She has great hooves and is currently barefoot. Tilly needs a semi confident person to continue her education and handling. She has not been brought up around children, although she is getting used to my son, I wouldn't say she is suitable for children. This is Polly, she is microchipped, passported, up to date with teeth and feet. Not vaccinated, very laid back gentle mare. Doesnt act mareish at all. I had her rebacked and i had regular lessons on her until the end of october...i had lost my confidence but really wanted to ride again, but the idea of riding was better than actually riding. Since October Polly has been ridden...by experienced riders who say she is very honest, she is lacking in confidence so needs you to hold her hand so to speak, she is forward going but never nasty, she has brakes and is ridden in a snaffle. She has never spoooked with me, she just snorts! if she is out in company of other horses she is totally relaxed. On her own she looks around for monsters but doesnt do anything. She can be hard to catch but with time she gets better, i think she has been ill treated as if you have a lead rope you'll never catch her...i just take a headcollar and food! other times she'll just stand and let you catch her no bother. *Acer* 14.1hh Tri-Coloured Cob X gelding. 8 years old. Hacks out IN COMPANY as this is the only thing he has ever known. He will go in front on occasion but is much happier just following. He is super safe to ride and suitable for a novice. Good in heavy traffic, on all roads and not silly in open spaces or on grass. Acer was bought for our riding school and has been used by us on treks but unfortunately doesn't enjoy being in the arena and we need more of an allrounder on a long term basis as we are only a small yard and this is the reason for his sale. For sale sports horse gelding 16hh, 10 year old. I decided to retire Charlie from competing last year as he seems to like to have a slower pace in life so has been turned away and living in the field since last August. Spirit is your very typical thoroughbred! He gets stressed out easily and does not hold his weight through winter! Saying this he is also the sweetest horse ever. I have owned spirit for 4 years and within this time we have competed in dressage, showjumping and cross country. Due to his age I am only selling him as a happy hack and low level dressage horse, he will happily jump a few jumps for fun but he does get quite stiff in he hocks of too much has been done. As I have mentioned he is quite a stressy horse, he isn't the biggest fan of being in the stable and will box walk and tries to weave, he can be quite bolshy so needs an owner who is not afraid to take charge and tell him what's what. When undersaddle he is the perfect gentle man, he is 100% anyone's ride, he will hack alone but will call out for majority of the ride but won't cause you any hassle is literally just calls out, he is perfect in company and I can just walk him buckle end for majority of the ride. There isn't much that he is afraid of, he has hacked down the busiest of roads seeing big artic lorries (he gets a little nervous if they overtake him but doesn't do anything silly) and speeding cars. He isn't afraid of other animals like cows sheep and pigs. His biggest downfall is tractors, he is terrified of them. Once he has settled into a yard and with the other horses he is such an easy horse to deal with, sometimes you forget that he is even there, but it does take a while for him to get comfortable, he is best suited in a herd as he does get attached if he is only in a pair, when In a larger group he will quite happily be left in the field on his own of all other horses need to come in.
