Max is a family pony and the 2 years which I have owned him he has taught me so much from being nervous when riding to now having a go at absolutely everything! He regularly attends a riding club and has done club camp. Max is a brilliant allrounder but has done more show jumping and xc than anything else. Max has a lovely jump with good technique and loads of confidence. He rarely refuses or knocks and usually jumps around 2ft6 courses. Although he is young do not be put off by his age! I can honestly say that he is the most honest and genuine pony I have owned and is always willing to try his best. He successfully qualified and competed at the championships of Great Britain this year jumping 2ft6 and managed to grab a 7th! He is a friendly pony who is packed with personality with lots to offer for a child and family! Max can get excited at times but is never dangerous, strong or silly! He can be a plod if asked to or he can be faster but won't go against what you ask of him. He loves a fuss and is so gentle with the kids and other animals around him. Max takes the best care of anyone on board. He is turned out with both mares and geldings and is snaffle mouthed with an amazing set of brakes. Although he is normally a star, he has recently decided to be a bit cheeky to catch but nothing difficult or challenging! He would be a perfect lead rein or for someone looking for their second pony. Max is brilliant with all traffic including huge, loud lorries although the one thing which nerves him a little is tractors but with leg and voice for encouragement he will pass. This is an extremely sad sale for if he was around 14hh and not as small as 13.1hh I would be keeping him for life and he would never be getting sold but I am left with no choice but to sell him. Very sad sale of my much loved stunning show pony Mia she is a 4 year old Welsh d 14,2. Mia was backed at 3 and turned away for a few months she hadn't been rushed she has been riding away for nearly a year now and has come on lovely she has lovely flashy paces, no vices at all she puts her self forward to do anything you ask of her she defiantly has the brain of an older pony, she is ridden regularly by myself and a 13 year old novice rider,she has won local shows in hand and has been hacked alone weekly in all traffic and doesn't bat an eyelid she is a great all rounder and has a huge scopey jump on her. We jump her once a week or so over nateral jumps. She is not at all fuzzy in open spaces and is not strong she is a snaffle mouth with no gadgets needed, she does need a bit of leg but not stubborn,obviously she is still green as she's young she turned 4 in July. We have done lead rein with my 2 year old and six year old and is good as gold my 6 year old also leads her around from the ground never kicked or bitten,never reared or bolted,she is perfect but prefers a confident teenerage/ adult rider that is not a total novice but she does look after her novice riders and will respect them more than children. She is ready to go into any discipline and be moulded to what you want from her she is ridden without a whip and we don't use one she has never needed it.Only loving homes need contact me as I don't want her passed around. She is barefoot and is fine she lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd rugged in winter she is a cheap and good easy doer. She Will come to you from the feild (but I always take a carrot). She is not mareish but can pull faces but it doesn't go any further than that. She comes with her rugs and bridle and can be tried out before you buy her. This pony is one in a million,Genuine reason for sale as I want to buy a lead rein pony for my two children. Unfortunately I can't keep two horses.
