Reduced from £. Pool is a ex racer who retired sound 18months ago since then he has done low level riding club and some hunting he isn't a world beater but safe and tries his hardest for you. Last hunted at our busy boxing day meet last week with a friend who had never sat on him before where he behaves foot perfect and takes you nicely into a fence. Does need more work with his head carriage as he is still very long and abit high at times but safe and sencible. 100% in all traffic and farm machinery. Walk trot canter in a school but is green as we haven't done a lot he was bought to hunt but is now no longer required due to hunter up and running. Loads in a trailer or wagon first or last travels quietly. Good to clip but did use twitch for half head as kept moving. Good to bath shoe catch comes to call Shod in front only but has had backs on in summer when in full work. Doesn't have to be ridden every day. Joe is a lovely quiet pony, I have owned him for the last 5 years and he has only had one previous owner before me so full history is known. Joe is excellent to hack alone and in company, he is confident in traffic, happy to lead or follow, and good to bath, clip, shoe, box, etc and for the dentist. Will stand all day. Denny 13.2hh pure new forest gelding 8yrs Denny is a beautiful pony with a lovely natural movement. He has bundles of talent and energy. Loves to be busy. Not a novice ride although never nasty just loves to jump! Needs a confident small rider who is also very gentle and calm as he is sensitive and responsive. Not a kick along. He has been going to riding club lessons weekly for the last year jumping 90cm courses in training and has been to many local shows, ode, hunter trials etc coming back with many rosettes, many of them 1st! Recently at his last show winning both the 70cm and 75cm. Despite all this energy he is the quietist pony to handle and work with on the ground. Loves a cuddle. Very safe to brush, pick feet, worm, load, foot trim, etc. a natural at parelli, will follow you over jumps loose etc. stand still at shows for hours. Hacks alone and in company well and doesn't get excited in big spaces. He is very practical to keep not yet needing shoes, having minimal rugging and not needing much feed. He would be best suited to an experienced knowledgable home where he will have lots of fun and do loads of exciting stuff. A pony to win on! Not a first pony or for a nervous child. Carter is our much loved pony having been with us 3 years. So this is a sad sale. He is 6 yrs old and he has been showing in M&M cradle stakes, show hunter and show pony for 2 seasons just starting his 3rd winning and placed in many. He has been hunting for 2 seasons one on lead rein one off. Competed in Hunter trails, and pony racing just this weekend at our local point to point. He regularly attends pony club and just this week also been to his second pony club camp show jumping working hunter and Flat work lessons all week.. he has competed for his pony club at showjumping. He has been on badminton ride last Sep jumping round confidently. My 7 yr old son rides him at home on hacks and has had few lead rein lessons on him but is not that intrested for me to keep him for the odd ride. This is a versatile little pony and really easy to do good to shoe, clip, catch,load, travel. Would suit a confident little rider be they novice or more experienced. I exercise him when my daughter can't ride him off another horse and he's has hunted on lead rein from another horse and is excellent, he is quite forward off lead out hunting so would have to be confident little rider in company.
